SPL Funds' shareholders have voted in favour of the acquisition of a portfolio of co-investments by J.P. Morgan Private Equity.

The portfolio is managed by Parallel Private Equity Limited Partnership and consists of a pool of 38 middle-market co-investments with leading fund managers primarily invested in the UK, Germany and France. JPEL announced the all-share transaction valued at £56.5m on 16 August.

JPEL said it had allotted and issued to the SPL Funds 44,727,053 new US dollar equity shares and 30,410,753 new 2017 ZDP shares.

It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to listing and to trading on 12 September.
