JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust has appointed Richard Huntingford as a non-executive director with effect from 1 December.

Huntingford is an experienced and respected boardroom professional with over 25 years of plc experience gained from a wide variety of executive, non-executive and advisory board positions. He is a Chartered Accountant who previously spent 12 years at KPMG advising a wide variety of companies at board level. He is non-executive chairman of UTV Media and a non-executive director of Crown Place VCT and Creston. He was chief executive of Chrysalis Group between 2000 and 2007 and executive chairman of Virgin Radio between 2007 and 2008. He has also been chairman of Boomerang Plus and a non-executive director of Virgin Mobile Holdings (UK).
