Arcontech swung into the black in the year to the end of June posting pre-tax profits of ã243,660 against a loss of ã35,565 last time.

Revenue increased 8% to ã2.13m (2014: ã1.98m) and the cash balance rose to ã1.07m (2014: ã733,676).

Chairman Richard Last said: "Arcontech has a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and although the lead time to a sale continues to be unpredictable, once a sale is completed we invariably have a long and positive relationship supported by annual recurring licence fees. Despite the challenges presented in the year under review, with a broadening product range and customer base, we are both positive and confident as to Arcontech's prospects."
