Jersey Electricity's revenues rose to GBP57.0m in the six months to the end of March - up from GBP55.8m a year ago, with this rise coming from increased activity in the non-energy business units

Pre-tax profits of GBP7.9m were down from GBP8.0m a year ago but the proposed interim dividend of 5.50p per share is up from 5.25p last time.

Net debt stood at GBP21.1m (2015: GBP21.9m) but will rise in the second half driven by continued investment in infrastructure assets in the energy business.
