Jupiter UK Growth Investment Trust's net asset value per share rose by 17.5% in the six months to the end of December with dividends added back compared with a 12.0% increase in its benchmark, the FTSE All-Share Index.

Chairman Tom Bartlam said: "The UK's vote to leave the European Union in late June produced a sharp but temporary decline in the UK stock market and many of the stocks in the company's portfolio were particularly severely affected, as we reported at the time.

"Since then however the market has recovered sharply and the Company's portfolio, with its particular focus on UK stocks with growth potential, was among the leading beneficiaries."
