Water treatment group Amiad said it had provided its water filtration solutions to the Tuas Desalination Plant in Singapore.

The facility was launched on 28 June and as the country's third desalination plant.

Amiad it provided a total of 224 filters to the plant.

'It is vital that we, as a society, use all of the means at our disposal to meet the increasing demand for fresh water and we congratulate the Singapore government on their success in driving the development of desalination in the country,' chief executive Dori Ivzori said.
