Africa-focused exploration project generator Altus Strategies said it had discovered a silver prospect in Ethiopia.

The discovery, dubbed Simret, was made at the company's owned 412 square kilometre Daro Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide project, located in the country's Tigray regional state.

Silver grades included 944 grams per tonne from rock chip sampling. Gold and lead was also present.
