Jangada Mines said it expected to conclude the feasibility study of the Pedra Branca project during the second quarter of the year.

The verification of the metallurgy, environmental, legal and social components of the feasibility study was nearing completion, following which, the final mine design process can commence, the company said.

The study was being carried out to further confirm the Pedra Branca project's technical and economic viability.

'The BFS for the Pedra Branca project, to further confirm its technical and economic viability, is progressing on track and according to the schedule previously outlined, with anticipated completion during Q2 2019,' said Brian McMaster, Executive Chairman of Jangada.
